She Ran for 3 Years After Her Dog Died in a Hot Car 🐾🔥
Sandusky, Ohio – Mouheb Ashakih was convicted of locking her dog Chapo inside a car as punishment and reportedly told a neighbor she wanted him to die. Chapo was found dead in the backseat, the car destroyed and covered in blood from him trying to claw his way out. Ashakih took off and was on the run for 3 years before finally being brought back to face a felony animal cruelty charge.
We brought this story first back in 2024. Ashakih was still on the run but they eventually caught up with her.
But…. her sentence? 3 years probation – and a dog suffered an incredibly painful death as a result. 3 years?!?
