She Allegedly Burned Her Family Dogs While Her Children Watched Helplessly in the Car
Henderson, Texas – Veronica Loredo is accused of killing her family’s two dogs while her four children were nearby. Deputies responded on May 17, 2025, after one of her children reportedly called 911.
The child reportedly told investigators his mother claimed he “was the devil” and had locked him and his three siblings (ages 1-11) in the car while she “allegedly” burned the dogs.
Authorities say Loredo later admitted doing this while at the same time showing signs of of paranoia.
She faces two felony animal cruelty charges and four counts of child endangerment, with bond set at $400,000.
