HE COULDN’T SEE WHERE THEY DUMPED HIM: Now he needs our help
Scottsdale, Arizona – Imagine having no sight.
You cannot see where you are. You cannot see what may be approaching you. You cannot find food, water or shelter. You do not know whether you are safe or whether anyone will ever come to help you.
Now imagine being 10 years old, completely blind and abandoned alone in the Arizona desert.
That is what reportedly happened to this vulnerable senior dog.
He was discovered alone and suffering before rescuers rushed him to an emergency veterinary clinic. Because of severe pre-existing trauma and infection, veterinarians had no choice but to surgically remove both of his eyes.
But he survived.
After enduring abandonment, unimaginable fear and emergency double eye-removal surgery, this sweet senior is now safe and receiving medical care through Desert Tails Shelter.
Someone recognizes his face. Someone knows where he lived. And someone knows who left a blind, defenseless senior dog in the desert without any way to understand where he was or protect himself from danger.
He had no voice to call for help. Now we must be his. Animal Warriors, it’s that time to make some noise.
