Update as of Tues, April 28, 10:25 pm CST: Justice Delayed – Threats Are Slowing Down The Marietta Dog investigation
Marietta, Ohio – I’ve spoken with officials and just about half and hour ago, I spoke with Ashley Flowers, who shared the video originally. She DID NOT take the video. She tells me she’s been in contact with authorities from the start. This is a Marietta, Ohio Police case, and the humane society is involved. But death threats are now pulling them away from the investigation because they have to investigate the threats.
I haven’t named anyone in this case for legal reasons and for this very reason. I know we all want justice, but threats waste investigators’ time. If you have real info, call Marietta Police. If not, let’s let them work.
We can all agree – we are here for the dog.

Marietta, Ohio – On Sunday, we received the video of the so-called two “individuals” and the poor momma dog. At that point, we got immediately to work and within an hour or so confirmed there’s an active investigation into the dog abuse case. Then today, the dog warden called me, verified, once again, the video is from 2024, that it just surfaced, and charges are on the way.
We know who the “individuals” are but as always for legal reasons, we are not releasing them. You can find them on other animal advocates’ pages. Not ours. I’m not crossing a line by doxxing and having you go out there and then I’ll be responsible for aiding, abetting, inciting? No. I have too much work to do for the animals. I’m not not crossing that line.
I’ll be speaking with the warden again tomorrow to dig into the specifics.
