On April 3rd, a man brutally beat a Canada goose to death with a curtain rod outside a business on Business Park Drive — in front of the goose’s lifelong mate. The injured animal later died at the vet, according to Tidewater Wildlife Rescue.
📷 This isn’t just animal cruelty — it’s a violation of federal law under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918.
📷 Punishment: Up to 2 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if ruled intentional.
