A CALL TO ACTION.
π¨ POETβS PAIN β A CALL FOR PROSECUTION! π¨
Salem, NJ β April 24, 2025 β another alleged disgrace against an innocent animal. Another alleged abuse of power. Another alleged plea for justice.
β οΈ Did Animal Control Officer (ACO) Ned Shimp go onto Mr. Saddler’s private property without cause?
β οΈ Poet was alive β yet violently caught through a window with a catch pole too tight for her already compromised breathing.
β οΈ Dragged across the yard, gasping.
β οΈ Tethered to a metal chain, left suffering.
β οΈ No immediate medical assistance provided β a direct violation of New Jersey cruelty laws: causing needless suffering.
π And then? Poet died.
The allegations? The laws were broken β again and again:
β Illegal property entry.
β No 10-day rabies observation.
β No impoundment facility β another violation.
β No emergency care.
And Salem County? βοΈ Are officials turning a blind eye? They say they’re investigating. We know what that can often mean – time for the dust to settle and forget about the story.
Will This ACO must be held accountable β this is allegedly NOT his first offense.
π The Salem County Prosecutorβs Office is now feeling the public pressure β theyβve received a FLOOD of emails and calls β and YES, they are investigating. But we must keep the heat on!
