BRONX MAN GETS MAX FOR CAT TORTURE DEATH
David Mosley, 26, of the Bronx was sentenced to 2 YEARS at Rikers Island on August 10th, 2026 – the absolute maximum allowed under NY law.
Case: In October 2025, Mosley tortured and killed a stray cat named “Mercy” inside his Bedford Park apartment. Prosecutors said he described it as a “ritualistic sacrifice” and posted graphic videos under the pseudonym “Church of Ububal” surrounded by occult symbols.
Plea: Guilty to Aggravated Cruelty to Animals on July 10, 2026. Supervised release revoked, remanded to Rikers.
