Court records show the case was filed on November 4, 2025, and includes charges related to the “alleged” torture and abuse of a companion animal. Jones pled not guilty and since then, the case has been continued multiple times, stretching over several months. Subpoenas have been issued for multiple officers and witnesses, indicating the case is being actively prepared for trial.
