Baton Rouge, Louisiana – After countless calls for justice, Tawanna Scott of Pet Parlor Pet Grooming LLC has been cited for animal cruelty. This comes days after the video (not AI) surfaced “allegedly” showing a dog named Jada flailing, struggling to breathe, and appearing highly stressed during a bath. The video was reportedly recorded and posted by Haley Hoon herself. If these allegations are substantiated, it’s a grave breach of animal safety. Jada’s mother says she plans to sue and seek justice for her pup. 
I reached out multiple times to Pet Parlor, but the phone just rang. Comments on the post have been restricted. Professional groomers know that if a dog becomes overwhelmed, you stop, contact the owner, or refer to a vet. Blaming the dog, as alleged here, only deepens public distrust.
